Look at the supplies you need for whelping, there are many things you need just should an emergency occur, and if she needs a C-section, that's another $1200, and the puppies may not even live. Also, it's highly recommended that both dogs get genetic tests, to see if they are passing inherited disorders that don't even show up till the dog is over three, if your male is bigger than the female this could also cause her problems. The breeding of toy breeds is much harder than many people realize, they have been over bred for so long, that they have many inherited health risks. You might also want to look at rescues.
