At the beginning I was being really protective of my face as I know I am slightly allergic to dog's saliva - but it has not bothered me at all, at least not yet...
I always aim his kisses towards my chin or nose... also hands... sometimes put my hand in front of my face so he licks my hand instead... from time to time there is an accident.. lick on the lips.. or up my nose.. but it does not gross me out.. i wash my face regularly and my hands when I touch Samy.. but I know he is clean as I supervise him a lot and I know what he eats and I wash him and brush his teeth..
But I am grossed out of other dogs.. If I touch someone elses dog, I must wash my hands and I always stay away from their kisses... yucky.. especially the big dogs with tons of saliva.. I am definitely allergic to them... |
