Thanks, Joey's happy this week, I'm watching my son's Maltese, so he's having a good time!
Some dogs are messier than others, but I would think they'd eat it off the floor; Joey would NEVER leave a piece behind. If they are leaving some, I'd give them a teaspoon to a tablespoon less. Some people use paper plates, if you have to buy two of those bowls, that's kind of expensive, and they may not even work.
