You are so right, but imagine how much free advertising they get because they sell it for that price, they sell other things too, and while expensive, they are not crazy expensive. How many hits did their site get because of this thread? Same thing goes on with dogs, I've seen some advertised for $30,000.00, they lure them in and then sell them an overpriced $5,000 dog that most people would sell for $500.00. It's about advertising and marketing, fine with pet accessories, not so fine with actual dogs.
