Just an update for Tadum. She is now 16 weeks old. Still has not completed all of her shots. Next vet trip is May 6th. I have read alot about yorkies, grabbing every bit of information that I can obtain. This is what has worked for me. I bought a potty pad holder from Walmart and potty pads. I also bought the spray that you spray on them which gives the pad a scent. Worked great for her urine, but pooping was something different. Then I read that sometimes they do not like urinating and pooping on the same pad, so I went to Walmart and bought another pad holder and set up two pads. She gets up and decides which one she will use for the day. It has been great. We only have an occasional accident maybe once a week, usually when I am changing her pads and I think she has to make a statement because it only takes a minute and if she needs to go, she will. I have given up outside training at this time because I do not believe my vet will ever clear her. I have never had to keep a puppy in the house for this lenght of time before. But we traveled with her last weekend and staying in the motel room...the pads were a delight. No late night walks, etc...

My next thing to master is her hair. I am going to figure it out. My groomer will not take her of course until all of her shots are up to date. Her hair is thin, dull and knots. I brush her daily, use products that have been recommended, but nothing stops the matting.

Oh the water bottle has definately helped with her biting my feet. My hands are still like her best chewing frenzy but we are working on it.
