The other thing you can check, is while she's standing, see if you can see the ridge of her spine....then feel to see if the pups have dropped....if you see any of those signs you are definately near. Now these are things I'm giving you to check for....doesn't always happen. |
Yes it is her first litter, and I do think shes a little clueless (aww my baby). When shes standing I can see the ridge of her spine, but where do I feel to know if the puppies have dropped? How will it feel different than her puppies have recently? Over the past day or so her belly has been lumpy, and I could still feel them all over though, not lower toward her back end - well maybe one was, but the other one (or two) were still up
