Please keep Morgan in your prayers and thoughts! Hi everyone! I know I haven't been actively posting in a long time but I have been around every now and then to read and check on my favorite people/yorkies.
I'm asking everyone to keep Morgan in their thoughts and prayers this Wednesday. She is going in for bilateral LP surgery and I'm a nervous wreck. As some of you might remember, Morgan also has asymptomatic MVD so this is a big concern for me since she's going under anesthesia. I had a blood panel done and re-did her bile acids last monday. Blood panel was excellent thankfully. Her bile acids were pre-8.5 and post-70. The pre is the best its ever been and the post is about the same as its been in the past. So at least it hasn't gotten worse.
I'm taking her to the surgeon I used to work for so I know she's going to be in excellent hands. She has at least grade 3 LP. It may have gotten worse since the last time she was checked over a year ago. I noticed this winter that she was having more trouble walking then she usually does which made me start worrying about her knees getting worse.
She just turned 4 on tax day so I want to get the surgery done while she's still young and before it gets any worse. I'm just so worried. She is my first dog and I love her so much. I don't know what I would do if something happened to her.
Anyway, thank you for listening to my ramblings and please keep Morgan in your thoughts and prayers.
