We installed our laminate floors ourselves when we built our house. One thing I always tell people now.... be sure to keep a good gap at the ends where it butts up to the wall. We thought we had left enough but in one area it got really tight during a humid time when we had the windows all open and we got a bump in the floor. Hubby just removed the little molding and chipped away some of the end of the floor to give it more room to expand and then put the molding back on. Be sure to give it a week or so to acclimate to the house also before you start installing it. Don't just keep it outside in the garage... it needs to acclimate to the house temperature. Good luck!
