Although this is a drastic diet, I know you are only planning on this 500 calorie regime as a temporary measure. Otherwise you would disappear!

Then I assume you will just go to a balanced diet using portion control.
I lost 20 lbs 2 years ago, and I am struggling to lose the last 10-15 lbs. No success yet. I am exercising, which really does help me from putting weight back on. Even if I have a week where I am not completely in control of my eating, if I continue to exercise I don't gain anything.
One thing that has really helped me is packing my lunch for work. No more eating out, and it saves a lot of money too!
