Same here. I have three children (7,5, and 2) and I have one...soon to be two yorkies. My children are amazing with Roxy and I know they will be with my new little man. It all depends on the dogs and the family I guess, I have met many families who have no business having dogs simply because of the neglect they get (because they are so busy with their children) or the roughness of their children. My family is my world, both fur and skin!!
