First kudos on your efforts to want to lose weight and improve your health, that's always a good thing.

I've never head of this diet, but honestly it scares me. 500 calories a day is just extreme and the idea of the HCG just seems so risky.
Diet really is about lifestyle changes. It's about eating healthy and portion control.
I think long term success in maintaining weight loss is eating the way you can eat for the rest of your life, not short term. JMO.
