My Doodlebug is a puppy mill rescue BUT since that time I have had a change of heart regarding rescues that purchase from puppy mills. There are so many dogs that need homes in shelters that rescues that PAY a miller to gain freedom no longer makes sense to me. It is no better than going to the pet shop to purchase a puppy. Before you get upset with me think about it this way.......if the millers get even $50 from a rescue to buy their unwanted puppies/dogs then have succeeded in making money off the back of that poor dog one final time. There are dogs dying in shelters that could be in the rescues that are paying millers for their unwanted dogs.
