Don't know about the coughing thing, but would have it checked out by a vet. As to the snorting type thing, probably is reverse sneezing. I gently rub Snoodles neck on each side, and it usually stops it. Your vet can tell you more. I know my Peke had the snorting thing a lot more than my Yorkie does. But one feels so sorry for them when it happens that we just have to do something!
