I totally missed the part about her being in heat a few weeks ago.. I am getting to many threads mixed up which isn't helping me.
I did have a dog recently with closed pyometra and there was no smell at all, as you can see I wasn't sure what the smell would be but from what i had read about it I never saw anything about there being a fishy smell. That is why I said that. I didn't say there was for sure no smell.. I know pus and infections can smell pretty horrid!
I don't think she will be back though.. Would really love to know how the dog is though...sigh..
