I would like to ask you all a favor.First a little bit of background.
My nephew died 2 weeks ago in a 1 car accident when the car he was driving went off the edge of the road & he lost control of the car which tipped & slammed into a tree. He had 2 of his good friends in the car as well. One of the other young men died at the scene & the other is still in critical icu. We know that he was driving at a high rate of speed & that all 3 young men had alcohol in their systems. We don't know what happened just before the accident & may never know but this is a tragedy that never should have happened. He was 19, his friends are 22 & 23. Three families with lots & lots of extensions are feeling the loss of these young men.
I beg you to talk to your young people about how very dangerous it is to get behind the wheel of a car or to get INTO a car when the person driving has been drinking. I'm living proof that it doesn't always happen to someone elses' family.
