Yes take him in - and don't go to your general vet. Go to an ER hospital if you can, even though it is more money. Barney had been hunched over a couple of times and it can get worse. The last time we had a hunched over dog in pain, he was to the point of passing out and needed morphine immediately.

Please do not delay. This could be a slipped disk, an abdominal issue like pancreatitis, or any number of other things. Your dog is trying to tell you he needs help.
