I fear that if I put "microchipped" a dishonest person would keep him and then not take him to the vet for fear that a vet will discover that is not their dog. That hits close to home because my bf's parents did this exact same thing. They bred their found dog, and now have 4 puppies and the one dog they "found." It's frustrating because they won't listen to reason and they don't vet the momma dog, just the puppies. |
omg, i can't believe people would refuse vet treatment to a dog b/c they "found" it!! that's just cruel, not to mention dishonest
... i cannot imagine how frustrated you are by them ... not to mention the horrible lesson it teaches their son!! did they even try to find the owner?!?
