I personally like the high gloss look. Either would be beautiful. the thing with laminates is it doesn't matter if the gloss is a high gloss or not, they all (laminates) resist scratching. That is why so many pet owners prefer laminate over real hardwood or engineered wood. I have laminate installed and have 6 dogs and never have problems with scratching |
