Poor little guy. I'm so sorry he's been sick. I would take him to the Vet as soon as you could. As mentioned this isn't normal puppy behavior or a fear stage the puppy is going through (also the fear stage occurs with the socialization phase typically anywhere around 8 weeks to 3 months of age). In their 4 month of age (sometimes earlier) is when they got through their so called toddler stage. My gir is 4.5 months old and is going through this stage now herself. If your little guy has been diagnosed with KC then he can and will continue to shed the bacteria for 6 to 14 weeks. So it can still be in his system. With mild cases, dogs continue to eat and be alert and active but in more severe cases, the symptoms may progress (which could be the case here!) and include lethargy, fever, inappetence, pneumonia, and in very severe cases, even death. Do you have any idea how he contacted KC? Has he been recently at the groomers or boarded or around other dogs? I'd be very concerned since he has been diagnosed with KC - it could have progressed. Do you know the name of the antibiotics the dog was treated with?
