I don't think there's enough cheddar cheese in the food to cause any reactions or anything. I use cheddar cheese sometimes when training Jackson tricks (he is VERY motivated by cheese!) and it's never caused any harm. I cut it up in small little pieces. He also gets frozen plain yogurt in his Kong. Dairy is fine if it's given in small portions.
