Hi! Welcome to YT. A good place to start is examining your reasons for wanting to breed. Are they noble reasons (bettering the breed) or do you simply want to bring more puppies into the world?

Once you've answered that question, go to dog shows. There you will meet people that have an eye for dogs that can really help improve the breed. They will be the ones to guide you.

I think we've all at some point considered breeding our beloved pets. From what I've learned on this site, it takes so much more than putting two dogs together and a ton of responsibility. I knew I couldn't do it, no matter how appealing puppy breadth was. Kaji is my happy little boy and he will always be that way.
