You really have to appreciate someone being honest with you and offering a refund of your plane ticket, with some of the stories here lately thats quite refreshing. With that said, if it were me and I had the money that may be required later, I would still take the furbaby. *Maybe* she will get along well enough to not need surgery....there are no guarantees even with a dog that doesn't have any known problems.
