I agree with Ellie May that the AAHA is doing a good job on vaccines. The vet we go to follows AAHA guidelines for vaccines - a somewhat more conservative approach than some vets choose to follow.

We do the bordatella vaccine (intranasal) annually. Our dogs are not at the kennel or groomers so are not at high risk, however, we do go on walks, and sometimes we do drop in at obedience class and daycare so we do administer it.

As I mentioned previously, the one time we did not administer it, Barney had a bout of KC. He reverse sneezes so any cold he gets causes him to hack away. I should mentione that he also has had KC while ON THE VACCINE.

So, this one is tricky.
