Was this a planned breeding? If so and your vet told you to go ahead without any prior research or a mentor, then find a new vet!
A breeding mentor is someone who works with you while you learn and when you start out and much longer than that. Someone who is experiences in ethically breeding Yorkies to kind of guide you. (Kind of like Yoda. )
I would suggest that you act quickly and contact some local breeders in your area. Maybe the one you got your girl from? Explain your situation and see if they would be willing to help you from here on out. You sound like you are in over your head and having someone on hand with experience would be your BEST option.
