I take her out frequently, every 2 hours pretty much unless we are not readily available b/c of work or school. She has someone with her around the clock so she is never alone. If we are gone longer, I put up the pet gate in the bathroom so she can go while we are not there to let her out. I realize she is young and I know how to crate train since I have a german shepherd who is crated trained and he caught on quickly.
I'm just wondering if crate training is going to be the best route for her since she doesn't mind peeing in her sleeping area. Doesn't that make crate training pointless? We keep her pad in the bathroom and her food and den completely separate from her "potty" area.
