Yes, Zoey also got the nose drops, and not the shot. I don't remember exactly but someone else surely will, there's something about the shot that's not desirable, I think. My dog will eventually go out in public a lot and to the groomers, so I decided to have her get the Bordetella vaccine. I know Bordetella is very prevalant and contagious, although it takes more than slight contact to catch.
The thing I personally don't like about it is that the vaccine doesn't give immunity fully for a year, so it needs to be repeated annually I read? So I totally understand someone not wanting to give all those shots if they don't have to. Do your dogs get the Bordatella vaccine yearly too? |
