Yes - onions are bad for dogs, but I don't think "cooked onions" are as bad.
My little guy grabbed and ate several small pieces of onion when I was chopping them for my stuffing. I picked him up to be sure - and sure enough, he had onion breath.
The thing that surprised me was that he "liked them." None of my dogs would ever eat onion. They didn't like it at all.
Well - I stopped him from eating them (put him in the playpen until I was finished). And what he ate didn't hurt him at all.
Got to watch them every minute, don't we?????
