You wrote in your earlier post that your vet considered it to be a core, which is why I said that was not correct. I'm glad you'd take your vet's advice any day of the week. I don't take anyone's advice without my own independent research and judgment because they are MY YORKIES.

I think the issue is that these toy breeds are being over vaccinated. Sometimes, it is a business decision by vets, and other times, they just are not knowledgeable about the breed.

I personally do give my dogs bordatella. The one year we skipped it, we got kennel cough while shopping in petco. I take my dogs to obedience classes and out on walks. I choose to give the bordatella but it's the only non-core I give.
