Hey there Lou To answer your question, yes it is considered genetic and can be passed on to offspring. I believe that is why he is being sold~but please correct me if I am wrong. Many times a neuter will be more extensive and costly when the testicle(s) have not dropped. There is always the possibility that they will be up inside of the abdomen and even intestines. Bogey had one side that did not drop but the vet was able to feel it prior to his neuter~thank goodness.

I'm wondering what the vet has said about this little guy? Are they palpable on exam or will additional exploratory surgery be needed?
