True, thanks I forgot to mention that. I don't know what can be done or how long they would need to discontinue the meds to get a valid BAT. BAT should have been done prior to being put on meds. Only thing I would suggest is to have Lactulose on hand when discontinuing meds, and as neuro activity resumes, begin dosing Lactulose. If LS, the Lactulose will control the symptoms, and won't skew the BAT results, as can be discontinued as needed... no weening off required.

Also, the description of the 'seizures' sounds more suspect of Hepatic encephalopathy than say a seizure that would occur with epilepsy and similar maladies.

Also, with these pups, is the goofy behavior occuring within 30 minutes of eating a meal?
