| Perhaps the British Vets don't do this. You guys don't dock tails or declaw cats either. So it's very possible pain meds aren't given. There are clear differences at times between our countries in the manner of pets.
But I do understand how you feel. My female was in that same type of pain her 2nd night after surgery. She woke up around midnight and just couldn't get settled (she sleep in bed with us). And I knew she was in pain. I got up and got her a dose of pain meds and she was back to sleep within 15 mins.
I'd like to say maybe a cool washcloth at his privates might just soothe the area a little. My only concern though with that is the area probably shouldn't get wet. I know here in the US we are not allowed to bath after spay or neuter for two weeks.
I'm just dumstruck on this one. Sorry. Let's hope someone with some holistic knowledge can maybe help?
