Something similar happened to us with Tatum a while back. I always take away her bully stick when it gets down to an inch or so long. Well, this time I didn't notice her find an old one and start chewing on it. All of a sudden she was pawing at her face and kinda gagging. I held her while my husband stuck his big ol' fingers in her mouth to find it - we thought she was choking on it. Turned out it was stuck to her very back teeth and was preventing her from closing her mouth. Thank goodness she wasn't choking but I was prepared to reach in and pull it out if she was. Gave us a fright though.
