Our first dog was a Boston. He was FABULOUS - especially with kids. They're so smart, entertaining and loyal. If well bred - an excellant breed. I don't remember ours being hyper - he just loved to play - but then so did my blk Lab. Very easy to train - even in potty training. Anyway, I only have good things to say about them.
