If I understand your post correctly...No AKC does not visit every home of every breeder..

Unless you want to get heavily involved with animal welfare then you do not need a subscription to review most of the Dog Press website. I have a yearly subscription because I believe you have to fully understand both sides to fully try to understand what is going on in this country but I did not for a number of years do the subscription.
