Biewers orginated in Germay and Parti's in the US. While they share a common ancestor far back in their pedigree...how the dogs were developed took two different paths. To be a biewer...the lines of the dogs would go back to the original breeding pair on both sides of the pedigree.
Biewers are not recognized by AKC while parti yorkies are.
There are biewers and breeders in South Africa.
