I admit it. I was expecting a lap dog when my wife brought Eddie home, and I was pleasantly surprised when I learned how active terriers can be. Meanwhile, he's developed a nice, mellow side that has me wondering if most Yorkie owners would consider their pups to be active, passive or somewhere in between.

I marked #3, even though Eddie probably spends more hours during the day being mellow. I figure he's ready to go at any time, which makes him active in my mind.
