I've hesitated buying the mineral stuff because they all say that you should use their concealer also but that's just a powder (right??) and doesn't have the coverage that I need. I now only use dabs of concealer in certain spots on my face and Lancome loose and pressed powder. I haven't used "foundation" in so long because I could never find one that wasn't oily looking or didn't cake up on me. I guess it's not doing too bad for me because people are always surprised to hear me say I don't use foundation. There are just times that I would like a more full coverage - like winter-time when my complexion gets sallow.
And if you think I should try the mineral powder as a foundation, which one should I try? We don't have a Sephora here but we have an Ulta.

Right now I am using Mineral powder as 'full face' coverage and i use my regular concealer which is by make up forever. I put on the concealer first, then i put on the mineral powder and kinda go over the concealer and you can't even tell. It looks all the same color. Another thing...I had the same problem as you-I used to HATE the thought of wearing foundation cause I hated that feeling of it being caked on or greasy and I tried this water based, oil free foundation by Cargo and let me tell you, it is sooo lightweight! I still love it but I switched to Laura Mercier and now to Make up Forever just because I like trying different ones. But I would totally still use Cargo, it's very light and does not feel like other foundations out there.
