My puppy does the same thing.

But - let's be thankful. It's really the pee that causes all the damage.

I think he can hold his pee a little better. It seems that when he has to poop - it just happens out of nowhere, and he jumps up, runs around in a few circles, and poops. Bingo - fast!!!!! If I see him do this, I can usually get him to the pad in time.
