You are not kidding! They are almost spitting images. I just wish he was more socialable. I've really got to get him out more with little dogs. We pretty much only have big dogs in the neighborhood.
when he was a pup, he always wanted to meet and greet them all and one day the newfoundland must have swiped (just out of curiosity) him cause he's been afraid ever since. the newfies mom and I were standing right there and we didn't see anything out of the ordinary other than Hot Rod burying himself into me.
