These things the OP said led me to believe this lady was keeping her initially.
I do believe with all my heart that this lady needed this poor baby as bad as the baby needed her. I will continue to check on her daily until I feel I don't need to anymore.

I've bolded and underlined below where the OP says flyers have been put up by the lady and that this lady said her 1st goal was to make sure the dog was healthy and safe and to find the owner if possible.

You have no right to Judge when you no nothing about the entire situation and seen the dog for yourself. I’m done with this and will no longer comment further. With advice like yours, I don’t need anymore!
