Default Eating kibble with no teeth?

Nikki is between 13-15 years of age and had all his teeth removed in November'09. I have had him 2 months and it has been a real struggle to get him to eat. I have tried the California Natural wet that he was eating before I got him and he ate it for a couple of weeks and stopped. Then I finally gave him Cesars out of desperation as he was losing a lot of weight. I recently started feeding my 3 the California Natural small bite kibble and Nikki wants to eat it too. So for the last few days he has been eating the kibble and leaving the wet. Is it ok for him to eat kibble, since he seems to be swallowing it whole as he can't chew it? Thanks I have never had a dog this old before.
