Disolvable stitches can take as long as 4 weeks to denigrate in people. The longer they are in, the more likely they are to become infected, though.
Don't try and remove them yourself- it ups the risk of infection.
If you are concerned, call your vet and get his/her opinion.
As for bathing her, how about a sponge bath on her back and legs. I would avoid using the dry shampoos available because the powders in them can get in to unhealed incisions and lead to infections.
