haha, I like the parachute harness idea! It is true, though, I would have to worry about hawks...there are quite a few around where we live. I think I've given up on keeping them from going up and down the stairs, on and off the couch, etc...they seem to be doing fine while doing it, and their stitches really look good for being only 2 days post surgery. Thanks guys for making me feel so good about my decision!!! (when I told one person over text, they asked "why did you do that?!"...it really made me feel sad)
