If you are home with her I think retraining her to outside would be doable, but if you are gone all day I think allowing her to have the option to relieve herself on pads is much kinder. I'm sure you have to potty several times during the day while you are at work.

I would try to cross train her if I were you. Train her to potty outside when you are able to take her out, but leave pads down for her to use when you are not or the weather is bad.

I am moving back to my parents and they will not allow pee pads and they have other dogs that are trained to go potty outside and she doesnt want to confuse them either... it is another yorkie actually. and Bailey can hold it in all day she does not potty when I leave for work until I get home(maybe once in a while she does) And I have NOT yet kennelled her she still has free range of the kitchen. Just wanting peoples opinion first.
Bailey doesnt even eat or drink while I am gone to work.. I am pretty sure she sleeps most of the day...her food and water dish are still full once I get home.
But anywho about the pee pads we need to get rid of the habbit. It is for the better.

Thanks
