My roommate emailed me at work yesterday and said while bathing Lily she felt a huge lump on her behind. She glanced and seen a fleshy substance, but Lily dances around so much, she could not tell how bad it was. So I contacted my superiors to inform them of my dilemma and got the rest of the afternoon off. I raced home as I had an appointment with the vet within the hour. Driving was sickening slow as I envisioned what this horrible growth could be, praying fervently she did not have cancer. ( Lost my Cassie to it).

Well I slammed my car into park and lit into the house. I had my roommate hold her so I could get a quick look at this mass growing on her behind.

I started laughing hysterically. This huge lump was her little whoohoo, all swollen, because she was coming into HEAT. LOL

My poor roommate was so embarrassed. LOL She had never had a female dog, nor any dog, but the ones she's been exposed to were male. She did not know they would swell up like that.

I was relieved to say the least!!
