To answer the "show dog" question it is absolutely YES -- we loves to show-off our Punkie. Seriously, though, after having her evaluated by one of the leading AKC Yorkie breeders/exhibitors who is also an AKC judge we plan to give it a go. I believe that a TRUE champion should first be a happy "real dog" not just something pretty to put on display. She will continue to be a farm dog - chasing chickens, playing in the yard with the other dogs, etc. If she finishes that will be a huge step in fulfilling my Yorkie Dream, but if she doesn't, we still have fulfilled a huge step in fulfilling my Yorkie Dream. |
