This is my thought exactly. Not sure you did the rite thing. I know in most states the law requires the finder of a pet to run a found add in the local news paper for a certain length of time as pets are considered property and when you find something you don't just get to keep it without takeing the proper steps. Now what happens if the owner sees their dog with this poor woman and wants her back. I'll tell you what happens, the lady has to give the dog back. So then not only was her heart broken once when she lost her dog, but now twice.
And what happened to that statment you made
