Urine pH should be neutral (6.5). If too acidic or alkaline, dogs are prone to uti's or forming crystals. If urine is too alkaline, cranberry will make it more acidic.

Lots of things can affect urine pH, including diet. This is definitely something to discuss with your vet if uti's are recurring.
