If she can already get up and down on her own, I would get a set of stairs, 1. it puts less pressure on their joints and is better for them each time they use the stairs, 2. it will be better for your back if you can have her get up on something on her own and then lift her from there.
Also, I have an XS puppyone harness (like the puppia but both the neck and stomach area are adjustable) that I would be happy to send to you so that you have something to bring her home in until you can see her and fit her to something you like... it is hot pink and in excellent condition... send me a PM with your address if you are interested.
