For too many animals, the local shelter is the end of the road. Millions die each year in 'shelters'. There are far too few no-kill shelters in our country, but the movement to go no-kill is picking up steam. Solutions are being found, often with wonderful results.

Shelter Achieves No-Kill!
This is an issue that we can all be involved in on a local level. I urge everyone to become acquainted with the issues...problems and solutions. We don't have to accept business as usual at our local shelters. Animals are dying every day due largely to a lack of will or information on how to do better.
